If arriving from the South take M6 north of Preston and get off at Exit 33 heading north on the M6 for three miles.
If arriving from the North take the M6 south of Carlisle and get off at Exit 34 heading south on the M6 for one mile.
If arriving from the NE take the A66 west to Penrith and the M6 south to junction 34.
If arriving from the East from Leeds either A65 (slower but shorter - by over 20 miles) or M62 (longer but faster). From Burnley and Chorley, M65 to M6 north exit on junction 33. If you feel adventurous try the picturesque Pendle Witch's route through the Trough of Bowland starting from Clitheroe or Whalley via Whitewell or Dunsop Bridge.
